Yoga Teachers

All of our teachers have completed a comprehensive 2 year training course with Yoga in Daily Life and have been teaching for over 10 years, and are continually learning with professional development. Most importantly our teachers are practicing yogis and meditators, who share yoga their own insights and experiences with their students.
We are committed to improving the health and wellbeing of those that attend classes through the holistic practice of yoga and meditation.

I have travelled to India many times, staying for extended periods of study and practice with experienced yogis. I have completed a 3 year Post Graduate Diploma of Yoga Therapy with Yoga Therapy Australia, training under the expert guidance of Dr N Chandrasekaran. I host regular retreats and workshops in Australia and overseas encouraging students to dive deeper in to the practice of yoga.

Qualified yoga therapist

I hold a 3-year, Post Graduate Diploma of Yoga Therapy with Yoga Therapy Australia under the expert guidance of Dr N Chandrasekaran from Yoga Vaidya Sala, Chennai India. The ancient and authentic yogic knowledge gained from the teachings of Sri T Krishnamacharya were passed through his son T.K.V Desikachar onto Dr NC who is spreading the valuable knowledge of Yoga Therapy as a complimentary health system to support the human constitution back to a state of health in this modern world. The study of Yoga Therapy is further deepening my knowledge in the authentic practices and techniques as prescribed from Patanjalis’ Yoga Sutras and Krishnamacharyas viniyoga tradition.

“Yoga Therapy is not a medical system.
For it is not disease oriented.
Yoga Therapy is individual oriented.
All of our focus is only on wellness of the individual”
Dr N Chandrasekaran

I have traveled to India several times for extended periods to immerse myself in the philosophy, lifestyle and culture of yoga.

While teaching a Yoga class, my intention is to guide and allow each student the opportunity to experience the subtle and gross benefits of their individual practice through observing the peacefulness and rhythms of the breath, the exploration of the physical body through movement and static postures, and the observation of the waves of the mind in meditation. Care is always taken to assist in adapting the practice to suit the individual.

Feel free to come and experience the ancient practices of Yoga to free up physical and mental tension, replenish your energy, calm your mind.
