A gentle introduction to yoga practice. Stretch, tone and relax your body with simple physical exercises, breathing exercises and meditation to calm the mind and emotions. All equipment provided.
GENERAL YOGA CLASS
Energise your mind, body and spirit with a guided practice through a series of classical asanas (physical exercises) that build your strength and flexibility. This class incorporates relaxation sequences, pranayam (breathing) and meditation to benefit your nervous system, internal organs and glands. Exercises are both passive and dynamic, with modifications to cater for individual injuries and limitations. All welcome.
All equipment is provided but please bring your own blanket and cushion if you like.
Albion / Wooloowin: The Holy Cross Heritage Hall,12 Chalk Street, Wooloowin. Plenty of off street parking. 2 minute walk from Wooloowin train station.
Brighton: Nashville State Primary school, Douglas Street, Brighton
Sandgate: Sun Rise Invigorating Yoga on the foreshore in front of the Sandgate Pool.
New Farm: New Farm State School gymnasium, enter from the top of Hawthorne Street, back entrance to the school, follow the yoga signs.
