Springbrook Yoga Retreat venue: The Springbrook Retreat Centre is in a very peaceful setting which provides you with an opportunity to experience the beauty and simplicity of the native bush, it’s surrounds and sounds. There is an abundance of birds and wildlife, adjacent to the Springbrook National Park. The retreat venue comprises modern single and twin share accommodation with shared bathroom facilities. So, you will have your own room, or if you wish to share there are a few twin cabins and one double room. The Cost of the weekend includes everything: accommodation, meals and all programs. You must bring your own bed linen (Sheets & Pillow-case) & personal toiletries and towel.  Doonas and electric blankets are provided by the venue.

Cost: $470 or $440 concession. This includes all retreat programs, all meals & 3 nights accommodation in your own room.

Craig will be presenting a workshop on Prana & Pranayam.

Sita will be presenting a session on Yoga Philosophy and the Science of Relaxation & Meditation, we will especially be exploring Yoga Nidra, the sleep of the yogis that brings relaxation, deep rest and a clearing of consciousness.

There will also be other special workshops such as a Mandala Art workshop and a Journal Workshop.

YOGA is more than just physical stretching exercises. The Yoga Asanas, Breathing Exercises, Relaxation Techniques and Meditation are all part of the one whole, which is Yoga. The techniques are inter-related and when practiced together, bestow abundant health, happiness and self-confidence.

The Yoga Asanas are a combination of exercises that relax, energise and rejuvenate the whole body. Both the gentle and the more dynamic movements help to relieve muscular tension and discomfort. Yoga Asanas keep the body flexible and increase joint and spine mobility. Complete beginners are encouraged to attend our Retreats, as are those who have previous Yoga experience.

MEDITATION is a practical means to attain peace of mind. In the practice of Meditation we learn to move beyond mundane content of thought to deeper levels of the psyche, accessing that deep well-spring of inner peace inherent within each human being. Through Meditation we learn how to consciously bring stillness and tranquillity to an otherwise restless and overactive mind. The result is a natural sense of peace and a clear-thinking mind – better able to deal with life’s demanding situations.

Payment Terms and Conditions for Yoga Retreats

Payment : ‘Yoga & Meditation Brisbane’ cannot guarantee or reserve a place until full payment is received. Upon receiving payment we will send you a receipt and confirmation letter with information on how to get to the venue and what you will need to bring with you. For bookings made less than 24 hours before the event, verbal instructions will be given and a receipt will be issued at the venue.

Cancellation: If a cancellation is made up to 72 hours before the start of the retreat, a transfer or refund of the total amount minus an administration fee of $50 will be given. For any cancellations after this time there is no transfer or refund of the total amount except in special and extenuating circumstances. The refund amount is at the discretion of the retreat manager. A $50 administration fee applies to all refunds and/or transfers.

Accommodation: At the Springbrook Retreat centre the accomodation is modern single and twin share with shared bathroom facilities.
